Most people would assume that Easter eggs and shaving cream have absolutely nothing to do with each other, and usually, they'd be right... until now!

This easy shaving cream hack will give your Easter eggs a gorgeous marbled look within minutes! It looks like the next Easter egg hunt is going to be pretty elegant.

To make your own marbled easter egg you're going to need all of the traditional egg dye ingredients, plus shaving cream.

First, make sure your eggs have been hardboiled, then get your food coloring and your shaving cream ready.

While the eggs cool, fill a deep baking sheet with shaving cream. (It can just be cheap generic shaving cream for this DIY).

After filling the dish with shaving cream, it's time to add your food coloring! This is when the fun really begins.

Don't be afraid to be generous with your food coloring. Select which colors you'd like to use and begin adding drops to the dish of shaving cream.

Some people like to divide their mixture into two color schemes, but the possibilities are endless, feel free to get as fun and wild as you want!

To spread the color you'll need a bamboo skewer or chopstick, anything that allows you to swirl the colors around without smudging it too much!

Now it's time to get these eggs rolling! It's best to put on some gloves before you jump into this part because it's about to get messy.

Roll each of your hardboiled eggs into the colorful shaving cream mixture, completely covering the egg.

Once fully covered, place the egg onto a paper towel and let it sit for about 20 minutes. After 20 minutes have passed, wipe off the eggs and prepare for the big reveal!

Wiping the shaving cream off of each egg you should be left with silky-smooth eggs, decked-out in all of their marbled glory.

Making marbled Easter eggs is fun for the entire family. Even if adults don't want to admit it, there's something extremely fun and satisfying when it comes to playing in shaving cream.

The truth is, whether it's a little messy or a complete shaving cream snowstorm, there's so much fun to be had.

While Easter may look a little different this year, that doesn't mean we can't still have fun!

Whether it's during a socially distanced gathering or a get-together over zoom, Easter egg dying isn't going anywhere soon, especially with this amazing hack.

The only thing left to do is give it a try!

It's fun, inexpensive, and perfect for a stay-at-home day. So, basically, there's no good reason to miss out but every reason to give it a try.
